The Touchstone Energy Cooperatives Bowl (aka annual North-South All-Star game) will be played at Doug Shaw Memorial Stadium in Myrtle Beach on December 14.
Earlier this week, Horry Electric posted information on its Facebook page about Quavon Bellamy, who will represent Loris High School as one of top football players in the state chosen to play in the game. He and 43 others will be representing the South squad.
Bellamy was honored and presented with a trophy during halftime at the Loris game last Friday night. Pat Howle, executive vice president and CEO of Horry Electric Cooperative did the honors. Bellamy was among a total of 38 athletes at 21 high schools across South Carolina to be recognized that night.
This Friday night, Touchstone Energy Cooperative representatives will be out again. This time, they’ll be awarding trophies to and recognizing 27 more student-athletes at 15 different high schools.
Stay tuned! Howle will be at another local high school game to recognize another Horry County student-athlete! The photo will be posted on Horry Electric’s Facebook page as soon as it is received!
