Closed Monday; set to launch new services Tuesday

564001_10152249364422538_793018456_nHorry Electric Cooperative’s offices will be closed Monday, September 30, so employees can finalize all month-end processes in the old billing system and begin the new month with the new system.
“We’re working hard to make sure the transition  is as smooth as possible for all of our members,” says Danny Shelley, chief financial officer for the Cooperative. “There are a lot of details to cover.”
One of those details is closing out the existing account management portal for members and launching a new one.
“The  Manage My Account and Western Union Speedpay payment options on will both be disabled at 5 p.m. on Monday September 30,” says Shelley.  “Manage My Account will be replaced by MyEnergy Online, our new member service portal.”
Members who participate in the Advance Pay program and those who have been keeping track of their daily energy use through have all been alerted about the changes effective October 1.
Details about MyEnergy Online will be released to members after the old system is closed out and the new services are activated.
