Horry Electric is in the Top 25 among Touchstone Energy Cooperatives nationwide in prescription savings by members using their Co-op Connections discount cards.
Since the co-op introduced Co-op Connections in May 2009, HEC members have saved $580,131.01 — about 40 percent of their cost — on 38,236 prescriptions, according to Touchstone Energy, the nationwide alliance of consumer-owned electric co-ops.
