Horry Electric Cooperative crews are working to make repairs and replace two triple-circuit poles broken earlier this morning in an accident along Highway 90. Approximately 3,500 members have been impacted.
Because of the extent of the damage, it will take crews most of the morning to make the repairs and replace the two poles.
In the meantime, crews have been able to backfeed and restore service to most of the members and businesses along Highway 90. Unfortunately, that isn’t possible for the area around Reaves Ferry Road or Highway 905.
It could be several hours before repairs are completed and power is restored to all members impacted by this outage. Updates will be provided when possible via Horry Electric’s Facebook page.
